Sometimes life doesn’t flow the way we planned or expected.

Significant changes happen, we lose loved ones, we grieve, we may face difficult decisions, chronic illness, trauma, relationship struggles and pressure from work/family.

You may feel overwhelmed or unable to cope with these challenging times and you may feel you have to carry your burden in silence.

Getting help from a qualified counsellor can help you to gain perspective and to find coping strategies and different ways which will help you to move forwards in your life.

My main aim in working with you is to make you feel comfortable, at ease and calm so that we can work together to enhance your life.

I have studied and trained to Master of Arts (MA) level, this – together with a broad clinical  experience will enable me to work with you in a Person Centred Counselling way,  which means that I will be guided completely by you, what you want to bring to the session, in a warm and supportive environment. You and I will  go on a journey of self-discovery that I have no doubt will assist you to explore and understand your feelings, your needs, to process your emotions/thoughts and gain a deeper understanding of yourself, and what is happening around you.

My main areas of work are :

Bereavement/ coping with grief and loss

Coping with significant life changes and other life losses

Relationship issues, relationship losses, divorce , domestic abuse (individuals only)

Long term or life limiting illnesses, eg Cancer, MND, Long-Covid

Supporting carer’s of clients going through long term or life limiting illnesses
